Acts 2 - Pentecost & The Gift of the Holy Spirit

PENTECOST, it’s an amazing day in the story of the Church. Many Bible students refer to it as the “Birthday of The Church.” It was on this day that God’s promised “helper,” the “Spirit of Christ,” the Holy Spirit was poured out on the followers of Jesus and the Kingdom of God Revolution that Jesus started was kicked into next level gear as the believers and apostles hit the streets boldly proclaiming the risen Christ in multiple languages and 3,000 people trusted Christ and we baptized! In this teaching Pastor Brad Windlan walks through Acts 2:1-41, verse by verse—reaching a crescendo at Acts 2:36-39:  “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.” 37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” 38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
